How morally, and economically cost effective has the U.S been in hunting down Osama Bin Laden, and Al Qeada?

Does a trillion dollars sound reasonable? Who really won? The man that caused us to have a choice between getting groped or x-rayed at airports? The man that sent us into two wars, and wrecked our economy? Has the U.S been playing right into Osama's hands, now that he has died a martyr, and made his mark on the world? Do you think Osama died with any regrets? How about the U.S, has it all been worth it? Abu Ghraib, invading Iraq unprovoked, civilian deaths from Cluster bombs, predator drones, and other means. Going to war with a political party in Afghanistan (Taliban), which posed no threat to the U.S homeland. All for what? Al Qeada, consisting about 200 people in Afghanistan, and Bin laden, a single individual? Has all the death and destruction, caused by the two wars been worth it? Do the ends justify the means?
