Excel: sorting spreadsheet data differently in two separate sheets?

How would I go about using sheets to separate a master table of data I have in excel into one sheet sorted by name and another sheet sorted by a different criteria such as number? I need to make sure that when the master table is updated, the two sorted sheets will update automatically as well. thanks.
